In adults, abdominal, thoracic and urological laparoscopic minimal access surgical procedures have become the standard of management for multiple surgical interventions. Technological developments and the advent of smaller devices in the recent past, has also opened up vast opportunities for paediatric surgeons to pass on the benefits of minimal access surgeries to the paediatric patients.
