Hybrid Learning

IMMAST is the only center in Asia to offer more than 50 structured, hands-on learning courses to doctors, surgeons and other members of healthcare teams, in over 15 super & sub specialties. Courses at IMMAST are accredited by The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Responding to numerous requests from doctors across India and the globe, to initiate training courses that ensure learning in a safe environment, we have created one-of-a-kind IMMAST HYBRID Model for training.

The IMMAST HYBRID Model is a unique blend of online learning and intensive hands-on training that entails completing the entire course curriculum in two modules:

Hybrid Training module IMMAST
  • Module 1
Didactic lectures, unedited surgical videos and demonstrations will be streamed online for registered participants. A Refresher module will be provided to participants to brush up on the didactics again, before participating in hands on sessions at IMMAST, Mumbai. The module offers self-paced learning to participants, bringing much-needed convenience in these times of over-stretched working hours.
  • Module 2
Hands on practice sessions, using innovative near-life breathing-bleeding tissue models, will be held at IMMAST’s state-of-the-art facility. The labs are well-equipped with best-in-class instruments, and recreate an OR setting to offer an immersive learning experience. Our labs are fitted with HEPA filters and the facility follows strict safety precautions for COVID-19.

IMMAST has launched four HYBRID Training Courses under the umbrella of this new model of learning.
Innovation and Quality are at the very heart of IMMAST, and we will continue to challenge ourselves. Heartfelt gratitude to our Faculty who pour their passion for teaching into IMMAST, and to our Alumni for continuing to place their trust in us and following the guiding light of knowledge.
